I begin the new PhotoART blog with one of my favorite pieces and quite possibly my favorite PhotoART, The Cow and the Barn. To me, this PhotoArt creation is one that defines Vermont yet it is very simple. You can't get much more Vermont then Cows and Barns. Well I guess that if a bottle of maple syrup was on the Cow, Then the Vermont hat trick would be complete. Yes I promise not to forget about the skiers in my future postings.
I stopped on the side of the road in Waitsfield,Vermont where I noticed a hiking path. I decided to take a stroll with camera in hand. I soon was greeted by this lovely Cow. I'm sure it is a specific breed, etc and quite possibly not even a cow but what the heck that's what I ended up calling this PhotoART creation.
What I can tell you was it was very curious. The stare game was in full mode. I remember asking the Cow to please center its self with the barn because I needed to get a photo. Yes, it was very kind to me and did exactly as I asked. There was a point in time that I was very happy that there was a fence between us. Strange noises were being made.
It was as if the Cow was telling me to hurry up and take the picture. So I did! Every time I see this PhotoArt it makes me smile because for just a few minutes that day I bonded with this lovely animal. If you are ever in Waitsfield stop by and say hello to the Cow and the Barn. J.B.
